I agree about the white space. How about a picture of one of the castle's decorated for the current season?

Seriously, how can you look at that and not see a tremendous, creative, humorous and expensive way to celebrate the 25th. It was only going to be there for about a year and then be gone, why not appreciate it for the creative work of art that it is instead of always laughing at it. This isn't the Capital Building it is a prop at a theme park. It was in the spirit of fun and celebration absolutely correct and appropriate.

I get so tired of hearing about how it decimated the Castle...the Castle is a prop as well. There is no Cinderella in case some haven't been keeping track and just like the Castle itself it is just a hunk of plastic, except this one required some imagination to design and I'm sure more than just a little cahonnas to convince management to spend that much on a one year celebration. All the negative feedback has only served to insure that NOTHING new will ever be tried again.

I was trying to get the drool emoticon, but whenever I clicked on the more smileys link, the smile page would freeze, I'd get a not responding message, and then it would say IE had to close and reopen the page to clear up the problem with the webpage.

But that castle looks soooo delicious! My mouth is watering looking at that! I know, it's only plastic, but still....!

From my research on the Cinderella phenomenon, it's the most widely adapted--and oldest--fairy tale in existance. I may have posted about it recently, with a link. Possibly it did involve real people originally. Fairy tales were originally old wives' tales, warnings and info passed on from the oldest women to young girls about the perils of childbearing and life in a male dominated society. It was like code, or a metaphor. Similar to the former practice of uneducated Chinese women peeking into school windows where the boys were being educated, getting the drift of how the Chinese language worked, then creating their own written language to keep their private messages to one another secret, unreadable by the men. The last of these women died a number of years ago.

When I was in elementary school we had a concert which used Small World as a framing mechanism for the program. We did songs from all around the world. I even played an astronaut that introduced the whole thing. Then we sand It's A Small World. I still know the lyrics. As a classic ride my wife and I will always take first timers on the ride. Seeing you respond with the lyrics (having picked up on the Lion King reference) you put a smile on my face.

Well, yes, I was picking up on the Lion King reference, but technically, the correct response should have been "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts"
