Although, for a waiter hoping for a good tip, that's kind of a rash revelation. :D:

Not a translational story, but still another good one from the ICU.

A different, very good looking, nurse had a similar tramp stamp Chinese symbol. The residents were always hitting on the young ICU nurses. During a code, this nurse was leaning over the bed doing CPR. Her scrub top was hiked up and a resident standing behind her doing nothing, belts out, "What's your tattoo mean?" Without missing a beat, she looks back and says, "It means stop staring at my ass."

Never did find out what it really meant, but everyone in the room busted out laughing.

Hopefully Patient made it :) Resident probably did not recover for a while......

Helpful Note from my CPR class: Perform compressions to the beat of the BeeGee's Stayin Alive

Patient did make it... The resident?

I remember when the AHA changed the standards for CPR. (the new ones emphasize chest compressions first and at a faster rate) One of our instructors would enthusiastically tell her students to pump "Harder and Faster". I think the BeeGees line would have been just as effective and resulted in less snickers.
