At the Portland International Auto Show where he worked one year, I had brought a jib arm for some video I was creating for my brother's class that had an exhibit there. He approached me and asked me to record him for an ad they needed to make. At that time he was working on a robot that had special gyros in it so that he could place his CG about a foot away from anything that was on the ground, sort of like a raptor's feet.
That robot is completely hand-made, and is extremely complex on the inside and out, so much attention to detail. How does it work? I'm not telling. The creator is more secretive about it than Disney!
yeah mark is a genius. he made it on his own. the gyros keep it balanced. Rockit is almost as hi-tech as a Titan mark 5.

So have you seen the inside? That's something he lets few experience, though they are even more impressive when you know how they work, how they interact with him as the operator, how he activates certain activities (such as the music)... It's great to see him still in business with new robots even after what, a decade? You can tell he loves what he does.

No word yet on Orlando or Tampa.
Oh, and if it's anything like Walking With Dinosaurs, the advertisement makes it look cheesy in ways it is not. I was noticing that here as well.

I myself like going there in febuary.
it's rainy season there and really beautiful.
When it starts raining every one runs and hides. and you get the whole place to yourself. most any ride will let you on dripping wet. and when you want to rest, just have a seat and watch the wild ducks having fun swimming down main street.
tourist are funny. OMG, help us! it's raining...
sometimes you just want to shove the smelly ones back out in the rain for another wash cycle.

For real?

I was afraid that the roof of the Honda Center wouldn't be strong enough to support all that extra rigging, but if it is coming to Anaheim, then I'm glad my assumptions were wrong.

For realsies. Check out the VIP section on the web site and it lists more dates beyond what's currently for sale.

You just need Ice Dragons (or Ice Drakes if you're not too picky) :D:
