Well up until the last hurricane the one before was in the early 60's here. I think it's just the law of averages catching up with us since we haven't had very many.

If there was an Orange County in Japan, it would be OLANGE Co.
Don't flame, just thinking how difficult it is for my Japanese friends & our Asian Guests to pronounce the R. Am sure if The Mouse actually asked for an Orange County in Japan, China, Paris, wheels would turn, great minds would meet, & Orange, Olange would be in

Well, its already passed but hey, can't complain. Five day vacation due to Frances (Days the Studios was closed plus two days of a regular day off).
So, in the words of the Great One, The Rock (On the subject of Ivan)....Just Bring It B***H.
All I know is that after two hurricanes, that damn hat is still up....meanwhile the tower is getting its ass handed too it as the shingles continue to fall off. Ivan comes through and its bye bye to the roof of tower.....(And I dont care about the size difference, damn it that hat is the icon of all things evil! I can only hope Ivan fixes the problem)
Only damage from Frances I recieved is that I was thrust into an Amish Paradise.....No power for FIVE DAYS. Only thing I had that came close to a civilization was a portable dvd player and it saved my life!
Hope everyone is doing well in Florida. And get ready for Ivan.

so ivan is what, the third to come your way this summer? I deal with daily earthquakes, but most of those are compeletly useless or too far away to case damage to civilization. Is three alot for you guys, or just normal. If we had three quakes that close together we'd sink right into the ocean... yup that's right, a fair amount of socal is a sink zone, you have to sign liabilty realeases or something when you purchase property in designated sink zones.

i think it's the "L" sound they have problems with ... like in "A Christmas Story" when they go to the chinese diner/bowling alley, and they sing jinger berrs and Frarararara fra ra ra ra. and then the cut the goose's head off!

OMG, what a GREAT line IndyandMarion!! Can't get anymore descriptive than the above 8) Will be using your line when SOCAL has the big one ... if I'm rescued from park rubble. Assume all CMs are last to be sought.
