Now that's something you don't see everyday. I can see it now on JC. "Now over folks is Bob and a kiwi, Bob is going to try and prove to you that Kiwis do indeed fly. -Bob punts Kiwi- Ah yes and the field goal is good from across the river!"
Oh I had guest freak about seeing a GIANT RAT. Well that Giant Rat was an opossum. Maybe its the same opossum that died in the mansion air duct.

did i say anything about satchmo, the opossum that got run over by the train? and no, emu's don't fly, but then agian mature frogs do not have tails, and last i checked, cockroaches don't live long enough to really be worth naming.

You can also just look on the Canidan dollar. They're called loonies which is a funny name for currency.

I thought satchmo was a bird that died at pooh. We have a little tomb stone for him and satchmo II. We also have a tomb stone for Pooh Fastpass

well you see, satchmo spreads like a disease, we currently have a lead up at steam trains(who last i checked) is very much alive, appearently he has a cat or a fish or something named satchmo... it's a wildfire, in fact my cat is no longer smudge, she is, in fact satchmo, also.

So, i'm walking down mainstreet parting the crowd for a pole cart after the parade, and out from Emporium shoots a rat, which lands in the gutter and tries to jump back onto the sidewalk, but can't, and before anyone can scream rat (this thing is sizeable mind you) I, in my indy costume shout "Look, it's a Long Tailed Frog" and seeing some kid trying to catch it i add "don't touch it! Just let it run along for shelter!" and then people sorta stopped noticing, and then the thing jumped into the storm drain... eww.
So Disney no longer has a Rat problem, just long tailed frogs, which are perfectly sanitary. and that thing was flipping out too, if i had had some thick gloves i woulda picked the little guy up and put him in a tree or something, or under the steel grating that protects the tree roots.

I know this is an old post, but i have new stuff to add.
It's springtime, love is in the air, and the birds are acting as if they were on some Alfred Hitchcock film, yes they are attacking the guests and model citizens (employees at legoland) alike.
infact some guests are even trying to use that to get free meals out of it.
has anything like this happened to you guys?

THE BIRDS!!!!
They spend the spring in the Timon Parking lot! Its so bad that the ground turns white (from the bird droppings)! You cant tell where one space ends and another begins.
We also have a family of long tailed frogs (RATS) in the green room (M&F structure tram stop) and rabbits over at the hotels.

so this is an old story... but i love telling it.
it was during holiday.
i was working OT at storybook.
i was off, but i was parked in TDA... so i couldn't walk due to pyro.
i decided to stand on the dock, and watch pyro.
so, i'm watching the fireworks when, all of the sudden, i see a brown blur out of the corner of my eye. i turn just in time to see the hugest, most vicious rat ever known to mankind running towards me. just in time, i jump up on the railing... and the killer rat goes flying into the canal.
i run to the other end of the dock... just in time to see the killer rat climb out of the canal, and run across our dock railing, and over the trackswitch.
small world was phase 2 (closed due to high winds)... and i went out to wait for the all-clear, so i could walk to my car... i was recounting my near-death experience to a few fellow CM's when i hear someone call my name...
i look up, and it's santa from the christmas parade (out of costume, or course)... but how did santa know my name? well, santa is my banjo teacher!
i'd forgotten that he was santa. this post went way off topic... but i really like telling stories.
and they all lived happily ever after. (there, now my story is over)
