As long as you're not one of those people that walks around with the camera glued to their face 24/7.WEDFan wrote:Uh, oh. "Talking a zillion pictures" could be me. :D: In my defense, if I'm take them from a line I do move to the side and let others pass.

Or, a good coordinator watches as the family dropping the stroller off says something really bad to you, and so takes the stroller into the next land. Happened once when I picked up a shift in (NAME OF LAND OMITTED TO PROTECT A REALLY COOL COORDINATOR).Cheshire Figment wrote:A few years ago at DHS when I was working at Indy, if I was assigned to "straightening strollers" if I found any that were parked in other than a stroller area I would move it to as far away from the other side of the entrance and still be in stroller parking. Usually would also block it in if possible.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
Re: Things that make you crazy!
Wallaby, if only there were more coordinators with that sort of attitude.
As a guest it's probably those who stop in the middle of the pathway, or use their stroller to take up an entire pathway.
As a CM it's the adults who duck under the AC lines after being told "please go around." And the ones that don't stop their kids from swinging on them. Having seen a child or two go down, as well as an adult, it's a big pet peeve.

Self Entitlement in general makes me crazy. I understand that you're here to have a good time, but you need to be considerate of others.
Examples:
Obnoxiously loud/rude people
People who think the rules don't apply to them
People who demand unrealistic expectations
People who intentionally cause problems, because they think its YOUR JOB to be their handler (IE, a person who comes into a store and decided to knock EVERYTHING off a shelf, just so you can clean it up while they walk away, etc)
Pushy people
The list could go on forever...

RIP Bud Hurlbut.
You will be missed.

Today while at the Gas Station, watching someone have a litter of puppies in front of me because they where out of 2% milk I remembered one of my other favorite people at theme parks.
You know them, probably fantasize about smacking them upside the head.
The "You Ruined my my vacation because (Attraction) is closed and we can here only to ride/see (Attraction)". I love to watch these people flip right out, they act like nothing is ever suppose to have issues. Mechanical problems never happen at theme parks, don't you know?

It would be funny were it not true.Mr. D. wrote:"OMG we just traveled all the way from Canada to WDW to ride The Haunted Mansion and it's closed. Now we have to go all the way back home without riding anything else. Our vacation is ruined."
Instead, it's hilarious after the fact.

1) SGs who hide in corners of the queues and exits to try and scare their friends and end up scaring another guest instead. I was almost knocked over by one of these SGs last night,
2) Guests who think because they have a GAC, (they get to skip the line, go through fast pass or get a quicker wait). Saw two examples of this yesterday. I guy with a 'stairs' GAC was directed to the regular queue on HMH, he argued with the CM about that. A guest at Indy didn't like that the stand by line moved more often than the w/c, GAC, single rider line. Especially when they shove the card in the CMs face and wave 2 inches from their nose.
3) People on EVCs that honk the horn repeatedly when stuck in foot traffic. Really? do you think that helps?

You know, I never thought of it before but someone should keep a tally of how many "Vacations you've ruined" just to see how many times one employee is told that over a summer. It'd make a pretty interesting study ;)Big Wallaby wrote:It would be funny were it not true.

Although I have to say my personal favorite was one man and his family, who came late to a Shamu show. The show was full and closed (also halfway over) and don't you know.. I RUINED their vacation for not letting them in.
I remember this one specifically because it was a total capacity day and I got loaned out to Shamu Stadium cause I was cross-trained in all the shows. This dude still stands out in my mind, he took 15 minutes to scream at me how I just ruined everything. Apparently his vacation, marriage and job also hinged on getting into that show.
