Lights! Camera! ... The Lights Are The Action!

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

That's what you get when you go viral. All the news outlets did not have the address posted but thank to Facebook connect on the LA time website, everyone had the address. Polar and I had to park a 1/4 mile away from the house. Neighbors were smart enough to pull all their cars off the street and close it off. I in my Mario Costume and Polar in his Homicidal Maniac Costume (they look like everyone else) saw other neighbors selling glo outside their home and one house came pretty close to rivaling the big house, it had moving eyes in the windows and effects matched with the audio. All in all it was a great night. Wish we could have seen the ground effects though.

"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

500 people? I feel like I should merge this with "*Bleepin* Neighbors!"

I wonder if he wants help for next year. I am all over it. Then, hhsrat and I will borrow his system for Christmas and Hanukkah.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

If they were smart they would put out a donation box for the electric bill. Seen some people do that who go all out for Christmas.

When I was a kid, we went to see Candy Cane Lane, and I was astonished to see one yard decoration that moved. It was Santa doing the Twist!

A couple of years ago, I went to a similar event, and it was reallyimpressive--one house had an ingenious ski lift for the dolls playing in fake snow, throwing snowballs at each other, etc.. And yes, there were a few trees lit up with programmed lights. But nothing quite like the singing house.
