Now THAT explains why I saw your picture on the backstage dartboard.

Favorite AC moment had to be my sister's 21st birthday. The maid was doing her show and we sat in the center of the room. She approached my brother, who was 14 at the time, and asked his name and how old he was. She responded with a "14...*intake of breath*" I was cracking up cause my brother, who at 18 is 6'3" over 200, if not 300, lbs wasn't that much smaller then either. So he looked a LOT older than he really was.

Oh, how I miss the Adventurer's Club. We were fortunate enough to have a table on the stage for one of the shows. I don't think I've ever laughed harder.
I can still hear Graves announcing the fireworks/New Years Eve that included something like... watch the fireworks, the dancers, drunks falling down stairs. All in that straight, butler voice. :)

I am now imagining Dusty the Maid, standing on the stage, bowlegged and stripped to the waist, chanting and striking her chest as shown in this video.
Had that been a regular feature at the AC, I think the protest over the clubs closing would have been a whole lot bigger, at least from the men in the audience!
She probably would have gotten more tips, too.

On our way out, Graves looked at me and my boyfriend and said, "Good night, Tim... Good night, Lisa Marie."
I was highly amused.
(He meant Tim as in Burton.)

One evening the CM playing Samantha Sterling found out we were from Indiana and that SWMBO is a Purdue alum. Apparently "Samantha" that evening was a graduate of the "Other Indiana" University. It did not go well for me that evening. But I still had the time of my life.

Man, I'm upset I never got to check this out. Adventurer's Club sounds awesome.
