Thanks everybody. It's all so much to adjust to. at least I understand a lot more now about the way my mind has worked since I was a child. Much like with my eyes (since I didn't have anything to compare it to until after the surgery-- I thought everyone saw halos around lights and things) I know now why my thoughts are the way that they are.
thanks for all your kind words and unfailing support. (and i LOVE Linus. big blankie fan, you all know i am. snoopy and woodstock make me smile too.)
Wazzup, every day when i see the crochet hook box your hubby made me and the ornament too (i keep them both in very visible places) i appreciate them all the more. please tell him how much they still (and will always) mean to me.
xoxo

I did tell him. And I can't wait until the weather cools off a little so I can wrap myself in my snuggly blanket. Thank you! We think of you frequently and I'm glad you're back on the Board so we can keep up with your "adventures."

Sorry it's been so long since an update you guys- been going to a marathon of doctor appointments (and not just close encounters of the psychiatric kind). Meds seem to be helping (I'm sleeping through the night for the first time in my life- what a concept! though I miss being up all night, when I got my best work done I think...thinking about flipping the schedule...) and then last week went back to the U for new tests (did not get along with the new doc- March will have the pleasure of meeting said doc today when I go back for test results)
More on that later- for now, please think good thoughts for me as you always are so good to do? I am not wanting to have to go doctor shopping- some kind of surgery is definitely in the offing and I disagree entirely with the tack this doctor wants to take.
Will let you know how it goes and what the results are.
Have missed you guys and think of you all Every. Single. Day. I swear I feel the love even when I'm not able to be here :)
xoxo

Second opinions are always good way to evaluate docs.
Never ignore your gut feeling. Every time I did I paid for it.

And further, doctors are like flight instructors. You need one you like and trust. One who doesn't scare you like my wife's first doctor in Orlando did. According to Little Wallaby, she is a wonderful doctor with a great personality and a lot of muscles. She walks in the door, scares you and then puts you at ease as soon as you realize she really is gentle with her patients. Here's a picture:
I'd have to say she knows a thing or three about nutrition and exercise.
