Today someone stole a turkey leg off the tray of ones I was putting onto the grill... I wonder if he realized that he stole an UNCOOKED turkey leg? :nyah:

Can you get salmonella from uncooked turkey?

They're supposedly precooked, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be cooked again... I would certainly never eat one that hadn't been cooked the second time! Either way, it would have been freezing cold... I really couldn't leave the grill anyway since leaving the grill = termination, no questions asked.

I believe that they are smoked therefore basically cooked already. Unfortunately, it probably won't be a salmonella problem. They may be hard to digest cold...probably frozen.
