Who needs jewelry? Yeah, its petty and shiny. I do like pretty and shiny, who doesn't.. but I dislike yellow gold. I'd beat my husband to death with a wooden spork if he spent the money on platinum, so if anything I wear silver. I think I own three pieces of white gold, my wedding rings and the ring my mother gave me for my 16th birthday. Necklaces? Yeah, charms in simple chains.. in silver. Thumb rings? Celtic designs, in silver.

Besides, I'd much rather have THIS.

I love my Nikon D90. I also use a Coolpix S3000 in a dive enclosure to shoot junior sailing pictures.

I should have went Nikon, then I could borrow some amazing equipment from friends. I went Canon, but I love it. I wish I could get the CFO to release funds for a 5DM2, or 5DM3 if it ever gets released and is as bad-ass as the M2.

Well the main reason we both like that model of Cannon is that it's within the price range we set for a DSLR camera as appears to have the features we'd want and use in one more so then the nearly same priced Nikkon. My husband has a wonderful film Cannon that we barely sure anymore as film has become an expensive media for our random pictures. Although he swears he's found something online which can convert your film camera into digital, I'm not sure I'd trust that.
I've always wanted us to get a good camera but I keep talking myself out of it. I'd feel horrible if anything happened to it and other things always seem to require the money more then acquiring a new camera. I do have my small, samsung digital which is what I normally carry around. Mostly because it was cheap, we needed one quickly as our other had died and if it somehow gets broken, I wouldn't feel horrible about it.

There are some great point and shoot models that cost less than $200. My Nikon Coolpix S3000 shoots great pics and does pretty good on distant subjects.
