A new trick the groups did to me a couple of times yesterday was to have two of them wait in the line and then when they reached the front call over the other 10 or 20 from the posse. I was not about to have that so I would stop them and tell them that the two people who waited in line could go but the others would have to wait in the back of the line. I swear if I didnt do this then I would have a riot on my hand from the other guest as each SG takes individual pictures

I always start laughing when I see them FILL the fast pass line to a point it backs up past the standby line. I guess they dont realize that at that point its not really faster anymore. They might as well not take the fast pass and just fill the regular standby line.

Back when I worked at PI, the state of Florida provided us with a Brazillian shield. :)

Florida law at the time was very specific about who can enter an alcohol establishment, which stated anyone under 18 must the acconpanied by their parents. Not Grandma or Uncle Joe....THEIR parents.

Since the entire island was under the liquor license, and most of the group was not with THEIR parents, they were denied entry by law!

They would get all upset, but hey....the law is the law. We would feel sooooooooo bad as they gathered the clan and went elsewhere :D:

I think we missed out on the fun. Saw some Asian tour groups, and we did have some girls from China ask if they could take a pic with my oldest daughter. We were like, whatever, but my daughter said no :D:

From what I've been able to gather, from my relatively short period on this board, is that these Brazilian tour groups seem to be fairly unfamiliar with the rules regarding acceptable behavior when in a Disney theme park, and possibly in public in general. This could be due to being unfamilar with cultural difference between what is done in Brazil and what is done in the U.S. of A. Now, I am sure Disney doesn't want to stop such groups from coming, since their money is as green as the next persons, but perhaps it would be wise if it contacted some of the companies offering said tours and provide them with materials as to what is and is not acceptable, with a subtle hint that ignoring said materials might make Disney less inclined to be particularly helpful to that company in the future.

One of those: If you are female and wearing a loose shirt with a huge neck line that meets your shoulders at the bicep and it's pretty open in front, please wear a bra.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I don't really think it's all cultural differences, my brother lived around Sao Paulo for two years and when I tell him the horror stories of Brazilian tour groups he is surprised. My guess is it mostly stems from a lack of supervision with a large group of friends. This also explains the NoJ and grad night horror stories.

When I was in Sao Paulo I never saw this sort of behavior either. Just a gaggle of SG's...
