Heehee, here's more intresting news! Purple was supposed to be up 3 weeks ago. They're testing every night and it keeps getting stuck in the middle of the track. So, when it comes back is anyone's guess!

It's always a wonderful exciting experience when monorails get caught and refuse to move....a friend of mine that drives them says that sometimes it seems like they're almost people with minds of their own.

I'll think about THAT the next time I'm debating on parking at DTD, and taking the monorail into the park ... I guess I'll take the extra time, park @ Mickey & Friends, and take the regular tram in!

I guess it really does seem a bit scary....and can kinda make you think, but I was just relaying a thought from a CM that drives them constantly so she knows them better than most people of course.

I was in the park early this morning (getting cross trained) and we saw purple (I think it was, I can't remember now, the one that's being salvaged) It was in bad shape the connectors in between cars were gone and you could see all the wiring at the track level. We were trying to figure out why it was even on the track in the park since it's not really complete.

Aren't they down to one train op? I heard Red was pulled and Blue is the only one left operating. Unless they're still trying to get Purple on...
If they get red back and do a three train, that'd be cool.
Either way, the Bomborail is turning into the scariest ride in the park.
