I know it's not a deluxe resort, but the Caribbean Beach is pretty good. I've never had any complaints when I've stayed there and it should be significantly cheaper. :)

Hi, Bru!

I had my third Lasik eye surgery and finally have 20/20 vision, but it was very bad for 7 months. I don't recommend Lasik, personally.

Spent my Spring Break in Nashville with my son and his family. New granddaughter Catherine Grace makes 5.

Only 6 weeks left of school. Hubby and I are going to Maui in July for our
10th anniversary.

I've been playing Words with Friends with Wombat and he beats me every time! That man is a friggin' genius!

Love the updates! Keep em coming, making me happy here :~) My updates aren't happy so we'll skip those for now.

Well there's one happy one- the eye surgery was definitely the right decision even if the healing has been a total (!&!~!^ and I did end up with a hole in my iris that now also lets in light in addition to my pupil and so I kind of sort of see a ghosting image in that eye that's sort of like 3D without the glasses only it is not cool because it blurs stuff. Still, it was definitely the right decision. So that's the happy update.

Who's next?!?

Hey Bru. I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how things were going.

Our big news this week is that our DD FINALLY got the official acceptance to Ga Tech! It has TRUELY been a trial - she was deferred from early action and then waitlisted at regular decision. But we are all over the moon happy and excited about her future.

The schedule for the rest of May is jam packed. We have Prom and Mother's Day this weekend, my DS's play (Alice through the Wonderglass (he's TweedleDum)) and his confirmation into the church next weekend, DH and iI get to sneak away to a conference in Ft. Lauderdale for a couple of days, then baccalaureate the following weekend and finally graduation. I'm feeling worn out already.

Well let's see. Approaching two years post-surgery, still cancer-free. The Society I run continues its slow improvement, though my computer system is driving me nutz. And today Disney finally gave me my Trainer's Pin -- only twelve years after I started work as a trainer!

About a month ago, I finally got a netbook, but have trouble getting on the internet with it. Reason? Only network I can get on is unsecured (shudder), the secure networks around the house I don't know who owns them so can't get the security passcode. I'm at the library as usual, but today I brought my netbook and hope to try here with it.
