I didn't even know we had a Sith Academy. I'd ask to transfer over there in a heartbeat! ;)

Honestly, I think that "Girl does something funny at WDW" probably doesn't rank that high when it comes to news stories in general, and in particular with all that has been happening lately. It's cute and funny, but really isn't that big a deal, so I can understand why "the media" didn't immediately jump on it.

Possibly, or it could be that the girl could be the sort that likes to be a bit contrary and/or different. In any case, I think that Disney might have to have a back-up plan for when there are aspiring young Sith about.

Well, technically, it was at Disneyland. but I know what meant.

You have a point, although the online media filled with er..."journalists" tend to only gravitate towards the trivial news stories, so I would have expected them to catch on quicker....A lot of people seem to think this is new, when really it is relativity old.

Some people think that the jedi master should have improvised more and made more of a show out of it, but I think he did well given the circumstances (and did you notice how the Storm Troopers reacted?) and he needed to keep things moving. I imagine if something went "wrong" due to excess improvising, he might have gotten in trouble.

Well, considering how much new "media" is put up on-line everyday, I still don't think it is surprising that something like this might not catch even the well-known Internet news sites' attention right off the bat. It's trivial, even if it is quite entertaining to watch.

Oh, I wasn't trying to say that the cast members did a bad job. After all, with recorded lines and sound effects, they can only do so much. I was just saying that, now that this particular situation has come to light, I can see them working out a routine to deal with a kid who decides fight beside Darth Vader would be more fun. Perhaps having Vader say he cannot take on an apprentice at this time, but he complements the young one on wishing to assist the Empire? :cat1:

Some would have said, "Sith Academy = Eisner Institute"

My guess is that there WAS a post-conference regarding what to do if it should happen again ;)

I saw that video a couple days ago, and yesterday I left a note to the Jedi Master that I had seen it. I'd talked with him backstage some time ago. Will have to catch up with him some other time and tease him about the Sith Apprentice wanting to bow to Vader. hahaha

I also got a fist bump from Darth Maul too. :D

True.

I'm just fascinated by the nature of the Internet, as soon as one individual highlights something, before long, its everywhere!

Please let us know if they now have some plan for what to do if an padawan decides to follow the path of the Dark Side.

A fist bump from Darth Maul? Nifty! I might be tempted to look at his midsection and quip "Gee, you can hardly see the stitches...."
