Online April Fool's jokes are really annoying. Because they remain in the archives forever, clutter things up, and confuse people. And even when they are read on April 1st, some people never seem to remember that its April 1st.

Yup...as long as someone (me included) respond either negatively or positively it goes right back to the top. Solution...let's make a pact to not respond anymore.

should have seen the stink moviefone did with Ghostbusters 3. lots of sites didn't catch the "april fools" tag at the bottom and started running the news that Bill Murray agreed to not only GB3 but GB4 as well.

Also, Zazu, I heard pretty much the same thing about the Marvel contract. If things weren't kept up to a certain standard then the marvel side, or now disney, could pull the contract.

While we're on the topic of April Fools' columns unfortunate lifespans, did anyone see the Eternal Disney column on Disney's forray into post-life merchandising?

Personally, I wouldn't have any issues with my cremains being mixed with concrete and used "where most needed in the park" but ....

The unfortunate columnist didn't close with "April Fools!" so I can see unfortunate swtichboards in Burbank lighting up with complaints.

That was an April Fools' Day joke? Ah, dang it! I just saw an article about it yesterday somewhere online and there was nothing in the article I saw saying it was an April Fools' Day joke so I thought it was going to happen.

Edit: I did some checking, Ghostbusters 3 is official but nothing official about 4 has been announced.

it's not official yet. Sony wants to make it. Aykroyd wants to make it. Reitman, Ramis, Hudson, Weaver. They all want to make it happen. Bill Murray.....he has the script. That's all. He hasn't read it, hasn't considered reading it it's there just not a priority to him.

Bill has been in wander around mode for some time. Even his friends can't find him.

Maybe he's ashamed of being pointlessly shoehorned into the third act of Space Jam.
