Not really considering that the groups started moving in in 98, but we sure could use a few of them for crowd control on nights when people "call in because they're still having trouble from the hurricane", which they arent...and management knows about it....and management is dealing with it....
I remember that one!!!

We call him AFLAC.

Okay, I know this is an old post but I had to ask do you mean the MK at WDW or DL?
Last time we were at WDW last year there was a white duck among the mallards at the Grand Floridian boat launch dock. We sat down and it looked at me and said, "Wack."
I said hello little ducky, you are adorable but I'm sorry I do'nt have anything to feed you. He looked at me accusingly, as if to say that he knew I'd left a half finished hot-dog bun at Casey's 15 minutes earlier.
Again he says "Wack"
He looks at my husband, daughter, Wacks again. Then he disappeared.
A minute later, he was walking through the rungs of the railing, up the tile walk and over to me. He looked at me like surely if I saw him up close that I would see how adorable he was and offer him some refreshment. I told him again sorry baby, I don't have anything for you, but I love you.
He looked at me lovingly, blinked, "Wacked" again, and then DID HIS BUSINESS right at my feet ROFLMAO!
DH and I about died laughing. We had taken it's picture a minute before it did that. Everyone there laughed.
All year we have talked more about that duck than the whole rest of the trip (and we stayed grand flo concierge that time to treat my dad after he had been critically ill the year before).
I cannot wait to go and look for him. Maybe it was AFLAC!
I told my husband, this year I save the hotdog bun in a baggy for Wack the duck. I can't wait to go tomorrow and look for him.

We do have Miscovies (Spelling? Floridians will know what Im talkin about).
These are the devil ducks. These little bastards will actually attack you for no reason. Now I know your duck didn't do that but it's possible he was being nice. But we do have just regular white ducks around here.
God. That's the reason why Donald is the only duck I like...seriously, when I was growing up, my grandfather and I used to go to a lake down the street from where I live and feed the ducks. Well the devil ducks were there and when we ran out of bread, they actually started ATTACKING ME. So yeah, needless to say at age 4 when this happened, I was just a little scared...still hate ducks, will deal with them, but will never forgive them

There are like 10 cats the live in the old skyway chalet in fantasyland. And if the cat has beeen seen its been named. They like to run around on the tracks of Casey Jr. and freakout castmembers. There are two that are seen most often, an orange one named Oscar and a grey one named Skimbleshanks.
Also there are two ducks who like to nest at Casey Jr.'s dock and they've been named Tyrone and Shaniqua. One day Tyrone flew by the dock and basically bitch-slapped my friend. It was so funny my friend just stood there in shock.

First, there's
never a post too old to reply to around here.
Second, there is only one "Magic Kingdom", and it's in Walt Disney World. That other place is just called "Disneyland".

Yeah, that sounds like AFLAC. He's got more of an entitlement complex than your average PAP stockholder!
But overall, I don't mind the ducks. It's seaguls that I
really hate.

Seagulls? Seagulls? Oh! The skyrats!
Or "Rats with wings" as the pelican called them in Nemo.

We don't have seagulls at DL -grins- Just lots and lots and lots and lots of crows. A lot of them hung out at the Haunted Mansion. One guest had the nerve to yell at me to do something about the birds sitting in the trees and pooping on the guests. I just nodded and said "I'm sorry ma'am"

Seems we've had many more crows around SOCAL this year. A few times guests have mentioned the crows & asked me why they were "brought" to Disney Land. I've been telling guests these crows are from Hitchcock's The Birds. So sad. Most honestly believe me. Go figure :!:
