Updating so far so good. Not sure when I will be starting an internal treatment, but the radiation seems to be working.

Side effects have affected my intestinal tract, and I can't drink caffeinated drinks or have things that are too hot or cold temperature wise, or have a high level of spice -like Mexican often does, or have chocolate. (Necessary evil but I will endure Heh Also pining for ice cream LOL :D :)

Another effect is some of my skin is itchy, but I have a moisturizer I can use after the radiation treatment.

I also can not wait to get six clear stickers off my belly! They have green sharpie x shapes on them.

At least they didn't tattoo the marks, they did for a freind of mine.

Great news about your progress, hang in there!

That sounds like a plan... My first phase ends on Tuesday next week, and then there will be about 5 weeks of an internalized treatment after "A break" Not sure when it will start.

Yeah in order to kill cancer cells you nearly have to kill the body. I did have chemotherapy about a year ago, and I lost hair and appetite, but I was one of those people that other patients would hate, due getting nauseous maybe two times, and I also had anti-nausea medicine I could take if I felt sick to my stomach.

The radiation started first with a simulation, where the radiologists mark on the patient's body with magic markers and stickers are placed over some spots, target points for the radiation beam, like an xray.

I washed off the out line areas but not the sticker spots. If one of the x spots needs fixing one of the radiologists wipes the skin clean and puts a new mark and sticker on it.

They did give me the option of tattooing the spots on, but I said no.
One side effect is that it affects the digestive tract and food comes out faster. (Dislike this side effect seriously Giggle noises)

Yesterday was my last radiation treatment. My cancer is officially dead and gone!!!

Today I went into the park for a little to celebrate and I even had some fun watching Farley the Fiddler, and Billy 'Elvis' Hill and the rest of the Hillbillies play Turkey in the Straw, and they dedicated that song to me. :D
