Disney stock is up $2.64 this morning on an otherwise blah day. Wowsers!

And then there's programs like this.
My certificate is hanging behind my bathroom door. ;)
Got my .40 dividend check a couple weeks ago. I guess I should just have them roll it over next time. Why didn't I buy more stock when I could afford it? :(

Hobie - do you think that Giveashare thing is legitimate and reputable? Mousesavers has a link to save $10 on a share, but the GiveAShare is a better discount.

Giveashare appears to be legit but I question the price. DIS closed at $43.09 today. Even with a odd lot fee you still should be able to buy a share for a lot less then their price of $81 for the cardboard frame.

Is the Mouseavers price a discount on the Giveashare product? That's still kinda high vs. the market price.

There is a charge to get a certificate issued as well (for any stock). Plus Giveashare or whomever has overhead and wants to make a profit as well.

I think the Mousesavers discount is through OneShare.com.
