Great, another guest infiltrator
Re: Great, another guest infiltrator
HappyCamper, have you stayed at Fort Wilderness before? You won't be making much money if you are living there and working, but I'm not really into this idea to make money. If I could cover my living expenses and have a bit of fun, that's what it's all about.

Ummmm.....a space for a single tent is $100 plus tax.fugarwe wrote:HappyCamper, have you stayed at Fort Wilderness before? Starting rate for CM is about $7.25 per hour.
So, 8 hr day at rate is $58 gross.
Let's see..so to live in a tent (not an RV) will cost you at least double your take home pay for a day.

I think you need a new plan.

Could anyone tell me why anyone would stay, in a tent, for $100.00 per day when you can get nice, clean rooms with bath offsite for around $35.00 per day.
It makes no sense to me at all. But I'm not a camper type person.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Hey, it's a plan in flux! I'm a creative fella and I'm going to keep working on it. Perhaps you have couch space to rent?mapo wrote:Ummmm.....a space for a single tent is $100 plus tax.

I heard that during peak the partial sites are a hundred bucks. But you can bring a class C into those sites. I don't use hookups anyway, I prefer the comfort stations to having to clean the bathroom and dump the tank!
Now, when we are staying there in Feb, the rates are 39 bucks a night. So, if I stay long enough it may even right on out!
