Ghosts
oh, btw, the little boy ghost that inhabits mansion, and other areas of the park, particualarly no/cc/river, is timmy. I was talking to a girl who used to work stores and is now no/cc attractions, who was in the attic in mansion, which is over the attic part of the ride, any way she was up there with a mansion cm, in her shops costume, talking whatever, and she heard a little kid giggle, like playing or whatever, so she turns ti the guy, and says "Can we go now please?" and they guy's all sure whatever, and when the leave the attic, she looks at her skirt, and says hey, look at my skirt, quite shakenly, and it was covered with a childs handprints. which is enough to keep me out of the attic, the same way, severed deerheads, is enough to keep me out of the forest unless attended too.
Gimme some soft serve!
I just recently heard of Westward Ho being haunted as well. Along with the 4th floor stockroom @ Star Trader, and the stockrom @ The Emporium. The lead that told me about all these things happening to her is actually quite trustworthy with her word. She normall won't BS people, but I told her that if all these haunts exist around the park, then I think they get really picky and choosy over who they want to make their presence known, or pick on/play with. I've been up in the 4th floor stockroom in Tomorrowland (by myself), and I did not even feel anything weird or creepy.
I have. Supposedly it's haunted by a little girl. But yeah it is a little creepy in there. The low ceiling doesn't help at all (I think it's about 6' high - I'm barely able to stand up straight) and the last time I was in there years ago it was kinda hard to breathe up there.Grumpy wrote:I've been up in the 4th floor stockroom in Tomorrowland (by myself), and I did not even feel anything weird or creepy.
I've never heard of the stockroom at Emporium being haunted, but I have heard Briar Patch is.

I've been to the Winchester Mansion...creepy as hell. And I don't believe in "ghosts" as in "floating white things that go Oooohhh"...but I do believe in "spirits" and most often it's not something you SEE but something you FEEL. It's my culture...my culture has tons of folklore and stories of spirits and the likes.
Anyway...I love the ghost stories of Disneyland!! I don't so much believe them but they are SO fun! I like being scared when there is no real threat to my life. =)
When I first started working ay Disneyland in 2000, I was working in merchandise/stores and worked at StarTrader quite often those first couple months. I'd never heard anything about any "ghost stories" yet at that point, but I went up to the second and third floors of StarTrader alot for stock (this is before we actually had Stock Teams and we had to stock our own area throughout the shift)...anyway, there was a long room full of plush toys on the second floor...and I go in and all the way to the back, filling a bag with plush....and I look up to see "Helter Skelter" and I got chills and I RAN back down the stairs! One of the girls I worked with was like, "What happened??" and I told her and they all started laughing and then told me the story about how that got there (someone painted it there in red paint in the 1970s and it's been repainted a million times over but it still resurfaces) and then told me about the boy "Ricky" I think, who haunts the third floor of StarTrader since he died there in the 1970s. Ever since then, I was hooked...I loved hearing the ghost stories! Some of the girls and I would walk around at night after we'd closed and just try to get scared...I have lots more fun stories also. =)
And a fun scary area to walk by at night after closing is the walkway from Critter Country to Haunted Mansion...freaky!

I work the Mansion, and well if you're ever at the unload area there is a mirror so the cast member can see the people behind them. More then once have I thought I have seen another CM coming to send a rotation or break or what not then turned and seen nothing. Also the mirror sometimes seems not to follow right when you move...but its all a trick of the light

These are the rafts TO the island. Not AROUND, not OVER, not UNDER and not THROUGH. Thank you for riding T. Saywer's shuttle service please visit again.
I walk there pretty often, what's freaky about the walkway?flippin_mermaid wrote:And a fun scary area to walk by at night after closing is the walkway from Critter Country to Haunted Mansion ... freaky!
I am not saying Stupidity should be illegal or anything!! But lets just remove the warning labels from hazardous items and let the problem solve itself.Author Unknown
