Actually, there is no sign, unless someone points it out. Then the sign doesn't apply to them for various reasons. After the person who points it out is gone, the sign vanishes again.

So you are making an analogy to the "If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is around to hear it....etc."

If Disneyland puts up a sign, and the SGs don't read it, then no sign exists.
