Welcome to the dark side! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

It takes all kinds. I would love to buy the elderly guest a drink!!!
I would have walked him over to GR and told them that they needed to give this guy the keys to the world. Locked the doors, I don't care what problems anyone else has, the old man gets the trip of a lifetime now.

Hey, Chaka. Have you been properly welcomed yet? This was my first time seeing you post.

Best line of the day!

Welcome to SGT :)

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

I just came back from a Holland America Cruise in New Zealand and Aust. and the cruise director told a funny story similar to the original post. An elderly lady asked where all the cruise employees slept. He decided to have fun with her and told her that every night, a big helicopter came by and picked up everybody and took them home and brought them back in the morning. Surely no one would believe something that nutty. Yet when he was reviewing the cruise comment sheets, the lady wrote that the cruise was fine, but she got wakened by that darn helicopter every night!

One of two possibilities.

First, there is the option that she was LOOKING for something to complain about.

Second, the hypnotic effect.

To help in the restoration of my faith in humanity, I am going with that second option.

Today, leaving a grocery store, I overheard an elderly couple arguing. The man was being verbally abusive, and I told him he should be ashamed of himself for speaking to his wife that way. He made some idiotic remark and I told him he was an ass. That poor woman.

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."
