Epic Mickey

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

(And it doesn't help that Warren tried to defend the camera problems either)
Those are exactly the comments i heard on a podcast review of it this morning. I am no longer in a big hurry to get it since you confirmed the podcasters feelings about the game.

I didn't have any more of a problem with the camera or the controls than I do with any other platform jumper I've played, but I so rarely play console games these days that perhaps I'm not the best person to ask.

Regardless, I was able to play through the entire game, and enjoyed it a lot.

I got Epic Mickey as an early gift and so far I have enjoyed it.

At first, I was worried that the controls would be too hard to handle, but they are actually pretty easy. The camera really hasn't been a bother for me.

And I agree, it really does seem to be a tribute to Disneyland. (Being a big Disneyland fan, I love that!)

Although I haven't gotten this far myself; I was watching a walk-through of the game and the background of the Ice cream shop on Mean Street is very meaningful for Disneyland fans!

I just started playing it, but from what I understand, there are different ways to do things in this game, and how you play can change the outcome of things.

Generally, I think that most people will end up liking this game. (By that I mean, members of the general pubic, who are not game critics.)
