I was out to dinner at a local resteraunt (in Anaheim) and was very confused when I saw a sign on the door of the restroom stall that said, "Please deposit used toilet tissue in the toilet." I just thought "Well, DUH what else am I going to do with it?"

Apparently Disneyland needs to have signs like that too. I guess I have just never even considered that there was an option other than dropping it into the toilet. Silly me!!! :roll:

And yes, that Splash Gate is a very popular place to duck behind for a quick potty stop. I even remember a story about a lady who took her son back there for a quick "unloading." A Cast Member walked up just as she was dropping his pants and told her under no uncertain terms that that is a)not allowed and b)just plain gross. The guest told the Cast Member that he really had to go and they'd only be a minute then actually asked if she could get some toilet paper! The Cast Member told her no! The toilet paper is in the bathroom under the Hungry Bear Resteraunt, where she should be right now anyhow!! The guest wasn't happy about it but the Cast Member stood her ground and threatened to call Security, as the guest was in a restricted area. Did she want to have to explain to Security that she was breaking the law by having her son defecate in public? The guest pulled up the kids' pants and left in a huff. :x

Actually, I think the 'leaving toilet paper anywhere but the toilet' mentality stems from the fact that some countries do not have a plumbing system like we do here in the US. Some South American countries (and some European ones, so I've heard) have septic systems that are unable to handle paper waste; in these countries, containers are provided near the toilets to deposit toilet paper in, instead of flushing it.

SICK. If this guy was actually an American citizen, that is pretty freaking SICK. Where exactly was this in the appropriately named Pooh Corner?

I remember a lead telling me about stopping a woman from letting her son pee in the bushes at the junction between Critter Country/New Orleans. "But I can't find the restrooms ANYWHERE!" she protested. Unfortunately, the lead had to point out that her son was pointed right under a sign pointing to the restroom location.

I'd heard about a Guest Pooping on the Blue train of Screamin', which is why I'd never ride on the blue train. I guest the ride litterally "Scared the crap out of them".

For the women, we have brown bag containers, for pads and tampons, but they can be used for toilet paper, and often are.

This is true ... in some countries ... like Mexico and some places in Europe and South America ... they don't have the best sewage systems and you CAN'T flush toilet paper down the drain ... you have to actually throw it away. I don't think many people know that here in America though.

And on that note ... one time over in Critter Crunchy we got a lady who just came from Hungry Bear restrooms and she wanted to know where she could find a "manual flushing toilet" ... she didn't like the automatic toilets and she refused to use them. It was a weird request.
