Yes, yes you could. I can, unfortunately, say that I have seen it...and it isn't pretty...

I'm actually hooked from the start on this one. Was kind of luke warm on Cars but I think this one looks pretty entertaining. It sort of reminds me of the old Herbie movies. In fact, since Paul Newman has passed away, I think Dean Jones would be an excellent candidate for a car.

I, too, was not to keen on Cars when it first came out. However, now I have a two and a half year old that LOVES the movie and it has grown on me. I love the Rascal Flatts version of "Life is a Highway" (that is them, right?) and the Sheryl Crow song. And speaking of merchandising.....you will not believe the amount of cars toys he is getting this Christmas.

My younger son went through a
huge Cars phase that lasted a few years. It basically was the bridge between Bob the Builder and the NBA! :D:

From what I gathered from John Lasseter's presentation at D23 last year, the new Cars movie plot is supposed to take a page from the classic Hitchcock film North by Northwest.
Hopefully the new film is more like North by Northwest ( fantastic) and not Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo (which is god-awful).
