This reminds me of the time I was on HMH and a bunch of guests got in trouble for trying to take a prop during the ride.

We saw them being escorted off the ride (with the prop, it looked like some sort of a suitcase from the attic scene) and later saw them in the little alcove to the left after the exit turnstiles.

Stealing Props from attractions is really bad.
since a lot of that stuff is one of a kind and handmade it could cost 100's or more to replace. and cause major jail time too. thats why most all of the stuff in the attractions is glued down. I saw a documentary on them building the POTC once, and they said they spent months glueing down every prop in the exact spot they wanted it in. but since the HMH is a temp overlay, they can't really do this. I see now in other places the scenes are blocked with chain fencing and stuff so people don't steal or destroy all the stuff.

I recognize one of the "managers" as a Security Supervisor.

I now understand when kids like to steal props off of the area attractions when they go 101. A bunch of of pre-teens were caught stealing the apple from Snow Whites Scarry Adventure. I have seen security interigate the kids and ask them why they took the apple. One girl said she wanted it and took it. Security was not thrilled and yelled, the apple is Disneyland's not your's. The girl gave attitude and next I see Mike come out and said, we are going to give you a choice, you can go to juvie hall or we can call your parents. I wish I had stayed around longer, but I was on my way home.

yeah, I heard about this. steal the apple was a real rite of passage for teens once. now the apple is virtual because of it.
they got tired of having to replace it all the time.

Knott's was too lazy to glue down props in Mine Ride. We would move stuff around in Explosion Tunnel all the time. I used to move the dynamite around in Explosion Tunnel. One of my old co-workers actually put a pair of sunglasses on almost every miner in the attraction once...total WTF. Too bad I wasn't there to see that.

No, they're still there. They're meant to be. The hat has his name stitched on it to, his name is Bones. It's really, really hard to see.

Going back to KBF, my friend worked the Calico Mine Train (I hope this is the way you call it) and she said the tnt stick was a problem when SG would try to grab it. What do they not understand? "Keep your arms inside the ride at all times?"
