I won't post any pictures of CMs I know personally (you know who you are).
I know a lot of you want to remain anonymous about your posting in this forum, but these would be pictures of CMs working at WDW.

Good idea? Bad idea?
The management of SGT thinks this is a Bad Idea.

We already ask that you not post the names of cast members, I think it follows logically that using their photos would also be inappropriate here.

Yes, there are lots of Boards where posting cast photos is perfectly reasonable. Those boards don't exist for the purpose of letting cast blow off steam and talk about stupid guests. This makes SGT a target for Company curiosity (or worse). Let's not give them any individual cast members to talk to about us.

Thank you all for understanding that this is about our jobs, not just our entertainment.

Not to worry...I don't have any pictures to post anyway, however, posting a picture unless identified as a SGT member, does not mean that the photo contains any member of this board.

Now pictures with captions that say...and here is Zazu or here is CptnSkippy, etc. might be a problem but otherwise...not so much. IMHO! And what about you folks yourselves you identify where you work, what shifts and specific incidents that you can easily be connected too. Doesn't that constitute possible problems for you?

I think someone posting pictures of CM's, not identified as members, would be the least of your worries.

At a minimum, it would raise our profile.

Okay, no posting of CM pictures or raising of profiles. Got it.

By the way, Zazu, Big Wallaby and Shorty82 are featured in my Disney scrapbook. I'll have to email them a picture of their page.

I remember seeing glimpses of me checking restraints and the like on various people's youtube videos of Xcelerator...

I actually try to stay OUT of people's photos. I always see the look of frustration on guests' faces when they're trying to take a picture and some random SG group plows right into the frame as they take a picture.

I do occasionally like to make a silly face or two behind the picture taker to make sure the folks getting their picture taken have big smiles on their faces. :p:

Kinda funny, as CM's you appear in peoples pictures, as a guest who has taken lots of picures at the parks I have found I have lots and lots and lots of pictures of not just CM's but other guests. Its unavoidable. I have looked at pictures and wondered how the hell I got someone in the picture, its almost like they will dart right in front of the camera.

So, years back I was at Disneyland with my late cousin and a friend, we were on BTMRR and these people took a picture of two members of their party and since I was sitting behind them I was going to be in the picture. So as I got off the train I introduced myself and told them when they showed the picture to others, if anyone asked who the guy was in the picture with them, they could tell them "its Steve"

There is a funny website where people jump into other people's photos on purpose, or accidentally get in the shot:

I hate that! I forget sometimes to make sure no one is in the photo other than who I am trying to get!

I had a nice meet, and was excited - turns out some 10 year old kid in the background flipped his middle finger out - NICE...

I'm sure I've been in hundreds of balloon photos--though half the time the guest wants to hold the balloons, so I get low behind them and hold the other half of the strings (so all you can see is my feet.)

So to answer the question--yes, my feet exist in many, many photos

I've helped guests take photos of their families, and a few of them have asked me to stand with them while someone else takes our picture... Sometimes I ask if someone wants to join their family while I take the photo and they say no, but that's fine by me. I just go on about my business...

Some families even get the idea to take a pic of me handing their child a birthday button. :)
