Thanks for the welcome darph nader. :) After posting last night and then going off to bed I worried that my post supporting the 'phantom child' might've come off troll-ish. I hope it wasn't taken that way by anyone. Anyhoo, I still don't see how it's theft despite 'going against the rules'. If the ticket is bought and paid for it's all good in the hood. But also it is a shady enough of deal where if I was going to do it I wouldn't advertise the fact or ask anyone's opinion on it so whoever originally posted about that deserves the flaming they may have gotten by the moral minority.

Those kids meal snack/meal vouchers? Do those come in a booklet? If I remember, those can still be used a year later. AAA has the voucher booklets. My mom and dad's friend is a travel agent at Long Beach AAA. She hates the vouchers too.
Lets say you got the meal voucher booklet as a guest today. Those vouchers don't expire for at least 2011. Expired vouchers do not work at the local registers. I have heard one day through roll call that a family was using the expired coupons and security was trying to catch the family. I don't know if the family was ever found.

Watch out for real phantom girlfriends,
like Connie, when she wants something, she will only ax you once.

So since you need to check them in, could you do like Lars and have a real friend that you buy a ticket for?
"You're not hungry honey? Okay we'll just use your dining credits."
I don't understand why some people are so crazy with the DDP... If they're so concerned, stay offsite at the Red Carpet Lodge and eat at a 5 star restaurant every night.
Besides, wasn't there a way for them to buy more credits?

The DDP is on their room key and has X amount of credits through their length of stay (losing any credits at midnight the night they checked out).
To be honest, what could they possibly need? We did the QSR DDP and had so many snack credits left over that we took home 12 of the Mickey Rice Crispie treats to the neighborhood kids.

Just as a gut reaction, I would say I am in with the "it's cheating" crowd. While there might not be anything in writing against doing it, it goes against how this plan is suppose to work. That is, the meals are suppose to be tied to a person who is using that ticket. While I can see where someone might say, "Hey, if I'm still paying for the ticket, what does anyone care if it is actually used or not with the meals?", but it may be that there are factors involved beyond just the purchase of the ticket. At best, it could be said that using that method to obtain an additional meal plan is bending the rules.

How much food are these people planning to eat?
My boyfriend, George Glass, and I think these people are weird.
