If when I drink coffee, I like the creamer better. You can store a box of creamer at work for over 3 months and it will not go bad.

I also put creamer in my hot chocolate. It makes it more creamier and tastes better. :)

Mmmmmmm........I wonder if I throw a fit at the pool bar they would add the real rum in my coke. LOL

We don't like the non dairy creamer either. We used to steal from the kids milk. Of course, we don't like the coffee sold at WDW. To bad they can't break that contract and get some good tasting coffee. So, now we just bring our own for the hotel.

TheAntiBarbie wrote:Okay..so heres my first "SG story" that I have deemed worthy of sharing.

At ESPN until recently in concessions we ALWAYS kept a "spoilage milk" open and in the cooler for guests who didnt want the liquid creamer and wanted real milk. Now not at all surprising the health department or whomever came through and we are no longer allowed to practice this courtesy.

As expected we get alot of aggitated guests because of this, many of them are obviously used to that.

So I was working concessions and a woman comes up to the register with her friends and orders coffee. As always after giving it to her and warning her of its scalding temperature, I "disney point" to the condiment bar for cream and sugar.
She looks at me all aghast and exclaims "NO! YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME MILK FOR MY COFEE"

I go through my well practiced by this point spill of "bla bla I am very sorry m'aam we are no longer allowed to bla bla keep open milk for guests cofee very sorry bla bla"

She gets furious (i think her eyes turned red  ) and goes off on a rant about how she cant drink liquid creamer and it will make her sick and RAWR this and BLAH that voice escalating the whole time and at one point states.

"THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IF I DRINK THAT LIQUID CREAMER AND GET VERY SICK AND CALL THE AUTHORITIES ON YOU! AND DONT THINK I WONT CALL THE AUTHORITIES!!!!"

Now at this point I am having a hard time keeping a straight face so I take a full milk from the cooler and slide it across the counter (screw it, we will mark it as "magical moment/ guest recovery" spoilage.
I tell her Im very sorry again for the inconvenience, that for this time, I can give her this milk at no charge.

She gets all huffy mid sentance from me and says "I DONT WANT THE WHOLE THING I JUST WANTED SOME FOR MY COFFEE"

and my moment of win came next

"im very sorry Ma'am once it has crossed the counter, I cannot take it back, theres a trash can over there if you would like to throw away what you dont use"

So of course all the other guests that were around are looking at her like she is a 3 year old throwing a tantrum and a moron (which...she was)
And I went about my day
Just a question here...if you weren't supposed to have milk available, how come you had it available, right there in the cooler? Is it used for something else in the process? Don't drink coffee so I don't know much about it.

I am guessing there can't be an OPEN container of milk.

But why is it there at all, if it cannot be used.

Because you can sell milk, but you can't have an open milk container.

I believe with an open container of milk in the refrig area is a health code violation. Any guest can put something in that mik and make other guests sick.

I think they keep the creamer out there for their own safety. If you and others want milk in their coffee, buy some milk. My friends who were here for my sister's wedding, went and bought some milk and kept it in the frig.
They had coffee with milk in their room. :)
