I don't know how the CM's do it.

Aww, Purps, I'm jealous I wanna meet DisneyMom! LOL Course I'd love to meet you too!

Well sometime you'll have to come out here to Disneyland.

I wish I could go to WDW, but then again if I went there, I'd want to take the hubby with me, so we could see WDW and Epcot and the Animal Park. Hubby has never been to WDW, but I have, and I've also been to Epcot.

My daughter has been to the Animal Park part of the resort area, she went when she was less than 5, with my in laws, as part of a visit my in laws had visiting a friend of my mother in law's down in Florida.

Aww hobie, Darph, you know you're not entirely human! You're way too divine!!! (I know you just keep your wings folded so we can't see em!) Wish you had been there!

Purps I actually called DLR reservations and almost went there instead on my little solo venture- but at the last minute with the flight being so much longer (and me being unfamiliar with the area- airports, ground trans, all of that) that I ended up at WDW again. Folks from here made sure that I wasn't lonesome!

Someday, though, I definitely want to get out there to DLR. I saw the Disney Channel spot on WOC the other night and I just cried- I had goosebumps. I know that I would LOVE it. It looks just incredible.

Seeing IllumiNations with two eyes- clearly- really for the very first time was absolutely astonishing. A couple of CM's at the Rose and Crown where I'd had lunch invited me back to sit right down by the water. Luckily the wind was with me (the Force was with me too- the CMs were ALL so incredible to me this trip- so many special moments I will NEVER forget) and so I didn't get fireworks fall out which I have had happen before at IllumiNations in the past.

The one CM was so sweet she even brought me a huge to-go cup of coffee to enjoy during the show. I cried a lot LOL.

It was the first time- since I got my newest glasses (the contacts are no more- too painful, too much scarring) that I really felt like my surgeries had been more success than failure. I had not been able to see individual lights on Main Street, I realize now, since I was a very small child- they always had halos. I didn't realize that until i saw them clearly two weeks ago. When I saw the Pete's Dragon float in the electrical parade and heard the music (I had seen Michael Iceberg play live in Tomorrowland when I was really little) it was like I'd fallen out of the TARDIS or something- felt like I should have been able to reach out, to the left and right, and take my grandmother and grandfather's hands. It was unreal.

I'm gonna cry again LOL sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread it's just that the WOC story got me thinkin about it!

Oooooooooooooooooooo...you guys are not making it easy to remember I've more than blown this year's travel budget LOL.

A chance to see some of the West Coast SGT cms and chat with DisneyMom and hobie in person for reals? That would be worth the flight time for sure. Of course you could all always hide from me anyway if you wanted to LOL. At least several of the folks around here could tell you that I'm not a complete nut job IRL- only mostly. I think that's what they'd tell you anyway. Gee, I hope...

LOL No worries Darph- you didn't miss anything.

I was just saying that a trip out West would be worth it to see folks from here and then joking hobie and Disneymom could hide from me if they wanted but I that I'm really not a complete nutjob.

Hobie then lovingly responded by saying in that case I'm outta the club ROFLMAO.

Ah, it's good to be home. :D:
