The $40 was on a plain AP. It would be even more savings on a premium. I also know that even with the renewal price, you still save $4 by going monthly and gaining interest.MyLittleAngels wrote:The current cost of a new Florida resident premium AP is $526.11. My renewal cost for the same pass is $483.51, a savings of $42.60. So, there's not really any benefit for me.

The online only rollout is a start. Within the next few months it will be available at the Parks and will include renewals as well as upgrades from MYW tickets.

Oh now that's COOL!!!! And very good news - my renewal's not till next August, since we did the 15 month back in May, so by then we should be set!
Thanks, Cheshire Figment!
And KurtisNelson, thanks for the math - I'm actually one of those anal people who does expense stuff on the annual pass out to the penny. In 2008, I expensed it to each member of the family costing something like a little over $5 per head per gate entry, believe it or not! I do the same thing with Tables in Wonderland, but not with such stellar results. I'm likely to put that savings into some type of account for that first year just to see if it pans out, then put it on the following year's renewal, depending on which is less expensive. I'll keep SGT posted.
