I took basic law enforcement classes in college. I took all classes that were fun. We did taking studying of the crime areas. CSI Las Vegas, New York, and Miami. I like the shows, but each time we were taght to go into a crime area, to put on slip on blue booties over our shoes and wear rubber gloves. I see on tv, most of the time, the investigators just go in and destroy the evidence area.

I wish I could go back to college and continue these classes, but these classes are no longer there.

Don't know about anyone else, but I think the new Hawaii Five O looks interesting. Won't be as good as the original, but might be entertaining for the summer.

I'm with Mayo....I do watch CBS primetime, although not the CBS Evening news. I do watch our local CBS affiliate because they have THE best newscast (and I happen to have met a few of the anchors & reporters who are nice).

hehehee

now you know how I feel, one of my graduate degrees is in forensic science.

I kills me when they can get a DNA test in 30 minutes or less. (umm, the process is not that fast people!!)

Or like you said, freely walk around the crime scene forming opinions on what happened without really studying the entire spectrum of evidence after analysis.

sadly, DW loves those procedure shows.

supend the disbelief, preserve the magic, and whatnot... if they tried to stick to realistic timelines each story would take six years to tell and then there's be hours and hours of completely irrelevant filler material and polar bears and time-traveling rabbits...

no, wait, wrong show, nvm...

The Graphics person here would like to chime in, and admit that even tho I LOVE these procedurals, I still want to stab someone in the writing department in the eye every time they "enhance" digital imagery in ways that are completely effing impossible. Not that would take 6 weeks in reality... they are enhancing out information that simply does not exist.
