What is this "board X" you speak of?

I think Yeti in mod B is still pretty ok. As the car whooshes under it causes the hair on his arm to sway sort of giving the illusion of movement. It's such a great ride that even this little glitch is not much of a deterient.

The first rule of Board X is...oh, wait, nm. :D:

(It's that other Disney board we don't mention...)

I disagree. When she was in A mode, it was INCREDIBLE! In B mode, some of the people I have ridden with did not even SEE her. :(

Yeah, I remember for AP previews being impressed by A mode. It's kind of ruined B mode for me, and I will agree that people have missed him completely.
But B mode is better than him ripping himself off the wall and actually attacking a train for once.

Back when EE first opened, I think I saw B mode my first time. I remember thinking, I barely even SAW the stinkin yeti! That's what all the hype was about? But it must have just been an off day or something, because shortly after that, I rode again, and A mode Yeti scared the bejeezus out of me! So IMO the difference is immense and VERY noticeable. People who haven't seen A mode are missing out, big time.

I don't think it will make much difference which mode I ride it in, I won't see the yeti either way because I wear glasses and take them off on roller coasters, kinda sucks for themed coasters. I have contemplated contacts for a little bit though.

I always wear my glasses on Disney coasters. Never on any of them did I feel I might lose them. Universal's coasters are different, I wear a sports strap on my glasses to hold them to my face when I ride those.

Well, I have other reasons to be looking at contacts as well. Either way I will want even non-prescription glasses because I just look wrong without them. :p:

I rode it last week for the very first time ever (I'm really ashamed to admit that - my 12 year old had to dare me). Did I see A or B mode? It just looked like kind of a projector on a wall after the backwards run that jumped around a little and grunted. I guess the grunting could have been DH, though.
