The child is then measured with shoes off and the measurement is keyed to the RFID chip.

When the child approaches any ride with a height restriction, at the entrance to the queue as well as in the boarding area there will be either a red or green light that will light up. It also will clearly indicate yes or no to cover people who say they are color blind.

The chip will be valid in all Disney Parks. And on a subsequent trip the measurement can be updated.

Now all we need to do in convince both Disney and the stupid parents that this is a reasonable thing to do.

I mean it is fairly easy to put a RFID chip in a cat or dog, why not a child?
that is a good ideal....OR

just line the kids up and measure them, writing their height on their forehead with a sharpie!!

hehehehehe

Fabulous idea, but SG's will still claim they don't see the lights, or can't read. I'm thinking a shock collar to the parents of said child (don't want to hurt the child...it's not their fault their parent is a shmuck). If said child is too short, the parent gets a shock. Enough times of trying to buck the system, and maybe they'll finally give up! :D:

That RFID would also be useful for bars. It gets put in right after the first slap on the butt to get you breathing, and knows how many days they've been activated. Bouncer scans the back of every patron's neck as they enter (or you have an automatic scanner that goes off if someone under 7670 days of age). Easy way to do it, no need to show ID.

Hmm... Someone should hit me over the head with a copy of the last book of the Bible for that one...

I like the chip idea. The shock collar is good too. If Pal Mickey would return, Mickey would explain all the consequences if a SG were to act up in the parks.

Examples:

Welcome to Disney World Resort. As you check in to your resort Pal Mickey will explain a new video in your room.

PM-Welcome to such and such resort.
PM-For your safety please what the video on tv.
PM-If you misobey me or CM's at the parks, this is what is going to happen:

Video: Pal Mickey's eyes turn red and the door becomes locked. Also shown at the parks when the family makes a unsafe decision and making a safe attraction dangerous for little Billy. Mickey pushes a button on his watch and they family suddenly becomes frozen in time....

I think it would be impossible for the last one, but I have seen enough SG around the park. They do something stupid and they get a warning by a CM.

I think most of us are past our last day, and I don't find the prospect of Carousel appealing.

But those who fight height requirements drive me up a wall, as well. I certainly understand the frustration.

they could just put it in with the slap on the butt... does it really matter where the chip is as long as a censors in range to scan it discretely?

Hmmmm, maybe we should just put everyone in the retinal scanner database
as soon as they hit school age......no microchip necessary, just a quick laser scan. No more identity theft, and confidentiality maintained for GAC Card holders ;)

Here are the choices:
RFID implant chip
Retinal scanners
Enhanced Biometrics
Barcodes tattooed on neck or arm...

did I miss any?
