I thought coming off the New Orleans train station there is a post with to different arrows saying where attractions are at?

My friend bought a Pal Mickey the last time we went to WDW together. It was cool because Mickey would tell you important info. :)

When I heard about Pal Mickey, I thought it was one of the niftiest things Disney had made. I was so disappointed when I heard they were discontinued, dashing my dreams of ever touring WDW with one, or even that they might incorporate them into DL. I suppose they could do something similar as an iPhone/iPod app, but somehow, I think it wouldn't be the same as having your own personal Mickey as a touring buddy...

I have a Pal Mickey, but he stays home. It was cool, a bit quiet, and sometimes you just didn't want to carry him around. Still fun though!

I was going to suggest a backpack for when lugging Mickey became a hassle. Then I suddenly had this scene pop into my head:

Ktulu: "Well, think I'll put Mickey away."
Pal Mickey: "Hey! Where are you putting me? It's dark in here! Hello? Ah, nuts. Can I at least have some snacks?"

Just make sure it's a 'coffee' proof backpack. ;)

I'm sure there is a story behind this comment. Is there someplace one can go to become enlightened to it?

I remember the coffee story, that was a classic.

I have seen some SG with out-dated maps back from the time Disneyland had Mc Donald french fries. SG claim that they can find the carts, good luck!

But then I have been known to put Magic Kingdom maps in English, Spanish and Japanese in the map racks outside the Disneyland City Hall. On them the "You Are Here" technology will definitely not work.
