So basically, what we're saying ... Goofy is John Candy?
and shorty, as has already been mentioned, Remy (and Emile) are not mice. they are RATS. (The name of the movie wasn't "Mouseatouille", now was it?)

If I see Goofy on my upcoming trip, I'll try to remember to ask him :)

After the movie came out, I looked up a recipe for ratatouille. Can we say, "Very involved and complicated?" The word comes from a combination of ratouiller, meaning to disturb, shake and tatouiller meaning to stir. Definition is a seasoned stew made of eggplant, tomatoes, green peppers, squash and sometimes meat. It dates to around 1877. With those ingredients, it would have to; eggplants originated in India, tomatoes, green peppers and squash originated in the New World. I read one reviewer refer to it as vegetable soup. Not quite correct; a soup is thin in consistency, stew is thick.

Why am I not surprised you chimed in, hhs
rat?
Rats, mice, they're both members of the rodent family anyway. (Yeah, I know I'm asking for it posting that.)

Random question: Where do squirrels come in? I assumed they were rodents, but now I'm not sure...
Not that there are any squirrel Disney characters, except for that one in the Emperor's New Groove.
At any rate, I'm sure I will feel really stupid really soon.

Isn't Giselle's friend in Enchanted a squirrel? Can't remember his name right now....
Pixar, not Disney, but Dug :dug: kept seeing them off-camera ;)

No worries Shorty. Rat won't do anything drastic. I'll get him in Aug. if he dares. ;)

You work for a mouse. You should've learned to tell the difference between mice and rats by now. Just like Chip and Dale don't like to be called squirrels, Mickey hates to be called a rat.
