There is one last part to my story;
A few minutes after it swallowed the duckling, some people passed by, one person in the group glanced at it, and said, "Hey a Penguin!"
Granted, I don't think he got a close look at it, but really, a Penguin?? I hope they were just kidding, but I doubt it.

That slow loris 'is' damn cute. Our tortoise does the same thing as the toad,leans into you when you scratch his neck.
That pelican was just too lazy to look for a fish. (wish he'd come to my house.)

I was doing some yard work yesterday, and found a dead squirrel. It had been there a while. I wish the hawks that live around us would have found this one before he decided to die in my yard...
