Doesn't look like a restroom to me. Although the spot booth in the Civic Auditorium where I used to work had a toilet in one corner in case the guys needed it.

And is that the SGT site on your laptop in the picture?

In the middle of the show, a lady left the auditorium, and entered my lighting booth. I leave the door open to allow for some air circulation, and she walked into the dark booth. SHe was coming from the well lit hallway, into a dark room with an unmarked door. And she asked me "Is this the ladies room?"

Its a dark room. Full of computer monitors. There is no sign on the door to claim there is a restroom within. And there is a MAN sitting in front of those computer monitors. To my thinking, that does not sound like it would be a ladies room !

I redirected the bladder challenged lady to the lobby, and its variety of available commodes.

But this left me wondering if maybe I am jumping to conclusions. So I thought I would throw it out there and ask, "does this look like a ladies room to you ?"
If that is a restroom, it is the coolest one ever lol

I'm confused... why are the urinals shaped like ice cream cones? And why did that guy pick the squnting lady to stand in front of?

That's got to be in a foreign country too... the floor is far to clean.

Ding Ding Ding WINNER ! I actually retook the the photo with SGT on the screen just to see if anyone might notice !
Good eye !

And for many years it was a local law that projection booths needed to have a washroom, as the projectionist was not allowed to leave the booth while the projector arc was struck. That changed with the advent of zenon bulbs, but many spot booths do have a facility as a result of it. Most often it is so nasty you would rather just hold it, as the cleaners are never allowed in to tidy up, amnd the guys working are not given the time for housekeeping chores. Yuck !

Wow, that would have to be the highest tech ladies room in the history of the world...but sadly I also have to admit that without my "Hubble Space Telescope" glasses on I could easily have asked that same question in an unfamiliar public place (especially given that the theater would've been dark at the time). Heck sometimes I can't see where I'm going in my own house without them on (as the cat will attest, poor thing has to realize I have blind spots still) and I've lived here ten years!

Let me tell you- when your vision is that bad navigating a public restroom when you do find it is as scary as trying to find it to begin with! Especially with those stupid auto-flush sensor thingies.

In any event no matter why she mistook the location I am glad she did cause we got to see your booth and look at all the pretty lights and buttons! It looks like the bridge of the Enterprise in there LOL. So cool to see the forum on the laptop too I never would've caught that. Hidden SGT!

I hope she finally found the right place. If she was really out of it (or had had a cocktail too many before the show) she might still be wandering around...look out, she may be back asking if this is the coat room.

That did in fact briefly cross my mid, but since she negotiated the step up into the room without incident (and then the step down as she was leaving) I am going on the assumption that her vision was adequate to the job at hand !

What I could not fir in the photo, even with the 10mm lens, is the backup console which was directly behind me as the photo was taken. A second GrandMA running in full tracking backup mode.
