I'm sure the official answer from management would be no, but seriously, do you suppose that if one were to press charges it would count against them in the future? Maybe make the difference when they're looking at who to make lead, etc?

I made lead and went to UNiversity about six months after the Space incident. I don't think it has any bearing IF they agree that it is justified.

If you are a victim of a crime, there is no way in hell ANYONE can coerce you into not pressing charges. If Disney were to hold that against you and you could prove it, you would be a millionaire.

The only reasons Disney doesn't want you to press charges are:

a. they don't want the bad publicity
b. they don't want the crime statistics
c. they don't want to deal with it, it's easier for them if you just bend over and take it like a good little worker. F THAT.

But the key word there is PROVE... things like that can get fairly difficult to prove, especially with how skilled management is at making up lies.

God must love stupid people. He made so many of them.

Exactly. Promotions are very subjective. Just because it says you once pressed criminal charges in your record, and they don't promote you, doesn't mean that if you were to fight it they couldn't tell any official (a court included) that you simply "did not meet the criteria they were looking for at that time" or something to that effect. Or they could use another minor blotch on your record, say a few tardies, and use that as their "reason".

ive been hit a few times but today i was at belts on b side and i was holding the belt to hand it over to a guest and the sled stopped a little ways in front of where i was standing causing the belt to act as a whip and whack the guest's shoulder. i appologized after she looked at me funny, and she forgave me and everyone was happy again. lucky me i guess.

it was last christmas when i was standing at the wheelchair ramp out side "the old" city hall, pulsing the line inside. as with every busy day, lots of rides were 101 and people were fuming. the next guest in line started talking to me which turned into a complaint about everything and i was stupid enought to try and calm him down and try to reason with him. he just started demanding a refund and getting other guests in line to join into his bitching. he demanded an answer about everything. i finaly told him he should stop talking and save his breath because we are going around in circles here. i was polite and very disney about it but he came closer and as he swung at me to put his entire handprint on my face he screamed "noone gets to talk to me like that exept my father, b*tch!". as i was collecting myself i told him he has 30 seconds to run for the exit because that's how long it takes to call the police and have him arrested for assult. and so he did...
i had another incident happen when disneyana convention was with us. i was at my little dca info station when a band of ecv bound pintaders crowded around my station, making it dark inside in the middle of the day, long story short...they demanded a pin that was accidentaly releised and pulled, minutes later. i could not comply so this man got out of his ecv, grabbbed me by the collar over the counter , pulled my closer and breathed in me face "if you dont get us the $%& pin, it's gonna cost you your job b*tch!"
i too wanted to press charges but they bullied me out of that. a few days later i found out that the crowd got an official appology from the resort for the misunderstanding about the pin and a voucher for 5 free pins including the one they wanted...i love disney!

i know you are an idiot but can you try not to be so stupid?

But then they have to maintain that lie. When I was a shop steward I was always able to have managment mess up with their lies. Sometimes it's important to get details whenever possible.
