BTRR had a line of 25 minutes. Pirates line was ok and the SG were there as usual. On Main Street there were the lines for the characters. The crowds were not bad at all. :)

The MK was dead today. Very slow and uncrowded.

I went to DL on Labor day too. I got to the Mickey & Friends parking lot at around 9:30 am. Long line to get in, but I was surprised that I got in the first half of the parking lot (didn't have to cross over). I spent most of my time in DCA watching Aladdin, and riding Toy Story and Soarin. I also did the animator's workshop. The workshop has become one of my favorite things to do, even if my drawings will never get me a job at the studios. :(
I did go to DL, rode Mansion, but by the time I got over to DL, (4pm) the place was pretty packed. I left the park, went back to DCA to shop and went through the Downtown Disney shops. The shops were busy, but not crazy. I hopped on the monorail back to DL to ride some of the Tomorrowland attractions. Well Space Mountain had an hour wait (no way),but Star Tours and Buzz only had 5 and 15 min waits.
I had gone to DL with the intention of seeing the new Fantasmic dragon, but decided to wait until another time when the crowds may not be as crazy. I really hate getting caught up in those crowds.

My daughter is one of the fast foof folk... She tells me and her daddy she wants to give us a kiss, smiles 'innocently' and suddenly FOOF! She's got us! Heehee. I also salute the poor souls that have to work on Labor day too.

Nope. Welcome to the club.

For those with short memories, a while back I was on modified duty and was assigned to Fantasyland merchandise. Sent to the stockroom at Tinker Bell's Treasures and introduced to the rather teutonic manager there.

"You vill open ze boxes, remoof de plastic wrap from de coztumes, plaze dem on der korrect hanger types, and attach ze proper size ringen! I vill be back in tventy minuten to check on you. Ach, und remember, der prinzess dressen must be poofed up properly to be ready for ze show."

She left me with two 3' cube boxes filled with princess coztumen... er, costumes. So, I did as she asked, packed the plastic into the trash, cut up the boxes for recycling, and when done, I read the racks and fixed the dresses with the wrong hangers or size rings.

"Und vy are you zitting?"

"Because I'm done, you're ten minutes late, and my ankle hurts from the surgery."

Oy what a look she gave me! Then she studies the racks, pulling out several dresses at random for an extra look, and found all in order.

"You are," she said, studying a Tink dress and softening a bit, "An outstanding poofer!"

"Thanks," I replied, "But do me a favor: *NEVER* tell my friends on Main Street that!"
