Hey Bru - Good luck with your surgery Thursday. I hope they'll let you wear those brave little soldier boots while they operate. :D:

I know you'll come out of this a "new and improved version" of Bru, and as soon as you're healed I want you and DDH (dear, dear Hubby) to start planning a trip to WDW to see all the pretty colors that you've been missing for so long. It might take you awhile to get around to taking that trip, but just think of all the beautiful things waiting to be seen and experienced. After all, anticipation is almost as good as realization.

Tell March to keep us up to date on your progress, and we'll be waiting to hear back from you in person (so to speak).

Hugs to you, dear lady. :grouphug:

Good Luck Bru! I agree that you should start painting when you can. They'll be beautiful!

Thanks everybody, I love yis all!!!

and hey, thanks for the serenade, GaTech...

I loves me a good sing along but even better, a Ludwig sing along! here's another Von Drake classic that's a reference to colors but a bit different...

I'mmmmmmmmm blue as I can be!

Green with jealousy!

Loooook what youu-uuu've done too-hooo meee-heee

I've got those green...

I've got those green with envy blues...

yes my mind has officially turned to mush.

Is it time to go yet? I want to get this show on the road.

I'd love to be able to see the Perseids like this next year... Glorious.

xoxo

If you read this before you go in in the morning, good luck, my friend. It is good to know that your eye is in some of the best hands you could put it into.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Thinking about you and hoping that by now you're resting comfortably after surgery.

Hello all!

I just wanted to let you all know that cataract #2 was removed today, with no unexpected comlications (or expected ones either I guess!). She was up and we were on our way home less than an hour after they finished. She ate and went up to bed and has been sleeping since.

Knowing how much it meant for her to see Disney through just the left eye (which was her weaker eye even before the cataracts), I can't wait to see what it will look like for her through both!

She was trying to remember how long ago it was that she could see the world and colors normally, and I aksed her if she even remembers what the world looks like through normal eyes, and she really doesn't. Its going to be like seeing the world for the first time!

-March
