That's just pure evil.

As a side question, I thought that the MAW kids and familys had volunteer assistants that helped them around.

Heck, I would do that! The benifit would be that we got to pound idiots like that into the ground!
They don't, unfortunately.

And I hate to say it, but in cases like these, I don't think even having an assistant would help.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Mickey is happily singing autographs and taking photos at Animal Kingdom when a Make a Wish family waits patiently at the exit to be back door-ed into the big cheese's kiosk. As he steps up to greet the guests of honor, this monstrosity came out of a mother's mouth:

Mom to MAW family: "I DON'T CARE IF YOUR KID DIES TOMORROW! IT'S PURE B.S. THAT YOU GET TO GO IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!"

Needless to say, Mickey got pissed and had the bitch and her family expelled form the park.

I've read a lot of the stories on here about horrible people in the parks, and I've seen it for myself at times. I've never felt a need to get involved in the situation, but if I'd been around for this one, I might actually have an arrest record now. I don't think I could have stood by and let that woman say that and not punch her in the face.

Some MAW families have escorts @ DLR. MAW groups always have escorts/MAW friends. Believe it's case by case situation. Most MAW families don't have escorts @DLR. GP, call MAW & volunteer. I did. You will never regret it.

The characters should have plainclothes security around the perimeter of the meet and greet area. You make trouble, you get it right back.

That woman was not even human; she was the Devil incarnate. She must've been a member of a neo-Nazi group for her to have that kind of attitude. If it were me, I would've put on razor-sharp titanium nail extensions about a foot long and given her a "Sieg Heil!" right between the eyes. Watch as the vacuum in her skull causes her head to explode. Because people like that simply do not have anything that can be considered a brain.

YAAAAY MICKEY!!!! Give him a huge hug for me, will ya, and tell him Great Job!

I think both Character and his/her attendant should have cleverly concealed canisters of pepper spray "pixie dust " to bestow on these sorts of ignorant, evil jacka$$es! That way the jerks would really have something to cry about. :trolspra:

A lifetime ban would certainly be in order! Their ignorance and lack of compassion give human beings a bad name.

I am so sorry that the Friends, Attendants and other CMs have to be exposed to this when they are making magic for the "real" guests, not the self entitled ones.

There are just some people in this world who don't realize that they have a special place in hell reserved for them....

That mother is well on her way to seeing it. WOW.

I just detest SOBs like that. I'm a travel agent, and I'll never forget a cruise I arranged for a family with a gravely ill child. It wasn't MAW...the extended family was doing it themselves. The trip date had to be moved at the last minute because of a relapse (the child had cancer), and DCL was wonderful about waiving the change charges. When they finally got to go, the poor kid was so ill he couldn't even enjoy it fully...but it had to be done then because there was no guarantee that he would make it through the relapse. It was just heartbreaking...I dropped out of touch with them a while after the trip because I just couldn't stand to know the outcome...I still think of them but I just can't bring myself to know for sure...I prefer to pray that he beat the odds. I'd love to see pieces of filth like that woman be in that sort of position herself...not to wish it on one of her kids, but it just pisses me off so much.

I agree with you Sarah Magdalene! Ugh I hate people who do that. Fortunately I haven't had many of those incidents, maybe once or twice. The one time I remember was in Animal Kindom where a lady pitch a fit. Unfortunately, Goofy heard her and he got PISSED! He grabbed the kids autograph signed it and posed for the picture really automatically. Then he signal for them to leave.

Contrasting that time, with the time when I was with Mickey and a MAW came up behind me that I didn't see. However the lady who's little girl was supposed to be go up did see her. Her daughter was about to run up to Mickey and she grabbed her and told her 'No Katie(*) let that little girl see Mickey first." Mickey saw the MAW and needless to say he made sure Katie(*) had a grand time. Mom got a special kiss too for being so nice.

Word to the wise, Karma is a *itch. You don't know what the future holds. Also characters don't like it when you are mean to MAW families.

However, I'm sad to say that I have had the same amount of bad experiences in reverse. Meaning MAW families being a little mean to other guests. But I don't like to talk about that because I don't even know what to say or think. I just like pretend it never happen.

I would like to think that the MAW families are in so much stress that anything outside of the immediate situation when dealing with people eludes them for the moment.

Maybe they did not realize that they were being short on mean to the other guests.
