WOW! Am I ever in good company. GP, I like your Rum. Let's drink up. Ktulu is as smooth as GP's Rum, cept K is waaay too intelligent for me most of the time. We'd only have half a SGT site if it weren't for Cujo.

Can Churchy read SGT but just not post? Or is she banned completely from even accessing SGT?

Hmm, on an internet chat board, getting upset by VIRTUAL rum?

I thought that most boards, it was so that you could see other peoples viewpoints, likes and dislikes, exchange ideas, perhaps change your outlook about a subject, and so forth.

Getting upset because another poster has a different viewpoint than you do, and will not change it seems to be a very naive reaction to being in ANY chatroom, discussion board and so forth.

If her outlook is such that she dosn't like to even see mention of alcohol consumption and/or other aspects of adult life, she probably should seek a discussion board that is more in keeping with whatever religion and/or philosophy that make her comfortable.

perhaps it IS best if she stays away.

i've seen churchy on board x and can contact her that way. It is too bad that so many things upset her.we have such a cool group here. I wish she could still join in, but she should find something more to her liking.homepage says"not for the easily offended".

When Churchy came to deliver the money y'all were kind enough to send along, she started saying stuff about being neurovariant, and I seem to recall her mentioning it in her old posts. She tried to tag me as such, just because I had a list of food items listed on the refrigerator door. I said, no, I'm just making sure I use up everything possible before I have to move, so I made a list and crossed off items as they were consumed. (Word of warning--if any of you ever get into a situation similar to mine, and one of the items happens to be a box of red velvet cake mix, DO NOT EAT IT BY YOURSELF. I ate a piece at lunch and dinner for nearly two weeks, and to put it bluntly, crapped red food coloring for the same amount of time. My guts were not happy!)

But she was saying that for her and her mom to move out of the tumbledown shack they live in would be too much for her mom. She doesn't deal well with the least bit of change, not even home repairs. Churchy alluded to her being on the autism/Asperger's spectrum.

After I moved, I had a problem with my cell phone, so I called her, from a pay phone. But her mom answered--and sounds a lot like her--and she didn't know who I was and asked I not call again.

I Dunno. Seems like a small price to pay for getting to eat it all by yourself ;)
