BTW I believe that this is one of his original songs and not a direct parody. Al does a lot of those.

Actually, a lot of the songs that people think are not direct parodies, are what Al calls, "style parodies." A recent example would be "Craig's List" which is an obvious style parody of The Doors. Usually he doesn't credit the style parodies. Sometimes it's easier to tell than others.

Minimal research seems to indicate that this is a style parody of a band I had never heard of before called Fountains of Wayne.

From what I've heard, he spends a decent amount of time at DL. I know I just missed him a few times at FNSV, something fellow helmsmen got a kick out of time and time again.

I met him when he rode the Matterhorn once. He was very nice.

Sorry MS,man did 'not' invent the wheel. It was a gift from extrateresieel,extretaiall,,,,outer space guys.
