I have had to bury of attend funerals for a fair number of friends, co-workers, and family over the years.
It dosn't get eaiser, and it seems to be harder when it was an unexpected accident.

I know that people must be curious as to what happened at Austin's vigil- so I will tell you this.
There could be no more fitting application of the Yeats quote, "And say my glory was I had such friends."
Because for over and hour and a half, Austin's friends spoke of him so movingly, and so genuinely, it was truly a tribute. I've been to different sorts of funerals and memorials in my lifetime, and have to say this was the most beautiful service I've ever been honored to attend.
He was truly loved and I don't think anyone could ask to be remembered any more dearly or gracefully than he was, and will continue to be remembered.
