Geez dude. Hope everything comes out ok. Wait, make that 'works' out ok.
A fellow employee just had some MAJOR gastrointestinal surgery done and he's doing better.
Fingers crossed and high hopes from the nader household.

(besides,if we ever make it to the East coast,we'd like to get that 'long lost' cousin rate at the toaster.)

Well, you finally have a definitive diagnosis so now you can get yourself cured. Yay! You're a tough ol' bird, Zazu, so we know you're gonna come through this just peachy keen. And your doctor's sense of humor will make recovery that much more fun. ;)

Ask SWMBO to post after your surgery and give us all an update, 'k?

Good on you for catching it early, Z. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

So... are the robot surgeons audio-animatronics made by Disney? I hope they're the newer models -- you'll want as little jerkiness in their motion as possible. :D:

ETA: Do you want your restricted movement boot back??? :D:

Met today with the assistant surgeon. He's the big robot geek, and he also got to give me the "informed consent" talk.

I knew why he was working with my primary surgeon when he got the the part about the chances of impotence and showed me this illustration.

Boy, do I know how to pick 'em or what?

Best of luck with the surgery. Hopefully they'll get every bit of the cancer and you'll have no future problems with it.

Sorry to hear about that, eh, hopefully, they'll be able to get all of it. You're all handling it well, so that's good.

Prayers and good thoughts and wishes coming your way from the Syndome homestead. Mr. Syndrome was just asking how your health was coming along and I didn't see this till today so I will update him.

You gotta love a doc. with humor. Mine used to drive the monorail and has a model set up around the upper walls of his office. I shudder to think of how he would explain potential impotence to a patient, but I strongly suspect he would use a Simpsons reference.
