3 years! Wow! Go and celebrate and have fun. A house is good. We have friends who live about 1 miles from the back side of the MK. Good luck! :)

This site is just a source for you to use for Jungle Cruise Skipper jokes!
Sounds like you will have the best Jungle Cruises EVER! :D:
I did Jungle for 2 years, and was a trainer there. Never used this site ever for any material. A good skipper gets their material (when they're not totally OG) from things that are happening right in front of them. Its oh so easy to do when you're relaxed and know how to deliver things right. When you can do it just right, you're picking on the guest, and they're having a blast and laughing right along. Its the most awesome feeling in the world at that point. :)

Congrats, BW!! I'm still honored to have been the first SGT'er to ride with you back in your Safari days. Sorry to say I may miss you on monorail, which is a pity, since I was really looking forward to you taking it off-road for a private tour. :D:

Nice thing is, Monorail managers are cool and will let me pick up shifts to keep my proficiencies from expiring, unlike Safari managers. I am going to go see the new Safari/Africa area manager and see if he'll let me re-assess. I've been told by a good source that there's a good chance he will.

And if that doesn't work, wait until May and ask the *new* area manager.

I'm not saying a lot of managers have been let go or reassigned the past week, but the breeze from the back door opening and closing was enough to let us turn off the air conditioning.

And does anybody have a definitive statement about MK Phil "spending more time with his family"?

Congrats!!!!

I got some good news when I was in WDW a couple of weeks ago. I took the Behind the Magic Tour and we went to wardrobe, stood next to a large rack of purple pants and in the process I discovered that they do indeed have my size there.

Now I just have to talk myself into parting with my "trimmed" beard that I have cultivated for the past thirty years and I might have a chance of being there myself in a couple of years. That last one will be hard though, the beard has become an intricate part of my identity.

The real question is, "What does my chin look like?"

That may lead to, "Jeez, do I have a chin?"

In some cases this could be more than one.

And then comes the remembering why he grew a beard in the first place, lol.
