Thanks for the well wishes everybody. I'm a nervous wreck over the whole idea of what they have to do to fix it but the idea of getting my vision back to a point where I can actually see things like Epcot at night and my daughter's smile when we walk into the Magic Kingdom (not to mention my beloved Monorails gliding down the track...) is helping keep me focused on the (hopeful) end result.

Awww, Wombat ((((hugs)))) You know we have to go to dark humor around here pretty quickly to survive- during my dad's stay in the hospital between his diagnosis and surgery he was cracking his doctors up by saying he was "not dead yet' a la Monty Python.

With my dad losing the ability to speak, my father in law needing to get hearing aids the past year and my sight going I have quickly taken to calling us "Hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil..."

if i can just get over this stupid thing whatever it is it's still kickin my tail...

two weeks from today...two weeks...i just have to get through the next two weeks of waiting.

did i mention that i am not the most patient person on the planet? :/
