I knew it!
the ones the hotels bought out here for the hotels were Coral and Lime of the Mark IV series. I still like to visit the old girls once in a while.

Ah yes, it's Monorail Blew!!Doctor McKey wrote:
This is Monorail Blew ( dont ask ) on In Shop Beam 1
From a thread a while go we were talking about the monorails and I mentioned about an incident where Monorail Blue was on a spur line and the spur line got hit by lightning, and the switch beams were stuck, bringing Express and Epcot monorail operations to a stand still, and if that weren't enough, Monorail Green had an air leak while all this was going on. This happened during my August 2008 trip.jerlove wrote:I remember someone once saying "God hates monorail blue"
something to do with Lightning strikes??? not sure why.
I know about Blew... :twisted:Doctor McKey wrote:you have to be a monorail pilot to find the actual reason.

Re: Even better monorail pics...
I had a guest yesterday who was a pilot from '89 through '94. He ran both the IV and the VI.
What I wouldn't give for ten minutes driving a IV back in the day...

Your thumb would fall off from taking the train to Epcot with the deadmans they had on the Mark IV's.Big Wallaby wrote:I had a guest yesterday who was a pilot from '89 through '94. He ran both the IV and the VI.

Actually, the first time you drive a Mk VI, you want to hold that button down. It's just a natural response to its presence and position.Monorail_Red wrote:Your thumb would fall off from taking the train to Epcot with the deadmans they had on the Mark IV's.
Problem is, that button (which is now much easier to hold down) keys your Nexthell.
